Home is my Safe Place

Home is my safe place, a place where I am protected from the world outside. Home is the place I crash into my bed and dive under my covers after a long day. Home is a place I know my loved ones will listen, a place where I can tell them anything. My home may not have a pool, nor a trampoline, but at least I have a roof over my head to protect me from stormy nights. Sometimes you get homesick and ache to go home. You may move houses every now and then, but your house isn't always your home. Home is a place you feel warm and welcome, a place where you build memories. Everyone has a different home, but none of them are perfect.
