The Gift of a Home

My name is Majd and I have a piece of writing brought to you that is about the gift of home. Houses are made up of concrete, cement, and bricks. Homes are made up of love, kindness, and empathy. The different topics of a house or a home are two very different things. A house is a place built to contain your home. Your home is made up of you and your family like a vault that only you know the code to. Homes are built up of different aspects than a house. Instead of concrete, we have love instead of cement we have empathy instead of wood we have kindness. A lot of people don't realize what it means to have a place to sleep, eat and have people that truly care for you. Life is not some easy simple game to play where you can just get a home to live in! We are so lucky to have people that care for us that work so we can thrive in this world. People don't pay enough respect to their working moms or dads. To have a home is a truly grateful gift and people should respect that more than anything. When people sit down and eat or sleep, rarely does anyone pay respect to the fact that they have a home. On that topic does anyone think about the people that don't have a home or a family? I am so grateful to have a home and you should be too. A home is the best gift anyone can receive. I am so genuinely grateful that I have the blessing of a home. Habitat for Humanity gives people that amazing gift of a home. To have a home is to truly live.
