The Meaning of Home

Home is where I feel safe. I don't have to worry about toxins, bugs, or any danger; I'm shielded from the world outside of my home. Home is where I feel welcomed. I can be myself and do whatever I want. I’m greeted by my mom every time I come home from school. Home is where I feel happy. Drinking Fruitopia by the tv while watching my favorite movies. I'm always overjoyed with laughter watching comedies. Home is where I feel calm. Like my mind is blank and I'm relaxed like I can bury myself in my blankets. I'm peaceful listening to slow and soothing music. Home is where I feel grateful. To have a roof over my head, food on the table and clothes on my back. I'm thankful to Habitat for Humanity for making homes just like mine.
