What Home Means to Me

Do you do you ever feel like your home makes you feel safe and protected? Do you feel sad when you’re not at home? Well home makes me feel like being next to my family, cousins and swimming. We are in the swimming place also this makes me remember when we went on a family vacation to the Bahamas. I love when we all go to Banff and sometimes I feel at home when I am at my house. Home means love, home needs peace, and family needs food. Home is important for many reasons and home can be anywhere and anything. To me, home means 4 things. Love, food, caring and peace. My second reason of what home means to me is my cousin. Why I think that is because we like the same things and the same stuff. For example, we both play and like video games and we both have fun cross country skiing. My last reason of what home means to me is swimming. For example, I once went swimming with my cousin. I love swimming! I think scuba diving is actually really cool even though I’ve never been scuba diving and I think it is a little bit underrated. Swimming makes me feel like I am flying and it makes me feel like I can levitate. Also, it makes me feel happy with all of the memories that I have with swimming. I think that homes should be affordable for all. I didn’t even know the lives of homeless people when I was younger. With this project, I hope that homeless people can get homes and be free.
