The Meaning of Home

There’s a home in a house. It sounds weird but it’s true. A home and a house are two completely DIFFERENT things. A house is made of concrete, cement, wood and is merely to live in. A home is built on memories and family who’s always there for you. They comfort you when you fall or celebrate with you on your birthday! A home is a place where you feel safe and loved. It has your special things like your stuffy or your pet, parents or even your sibling! It has the wood floors you would always slide on with your socks. Your bed you jump on even though your parents tell you not to. The fridge where your mom keeps her secret ingredient for that delicious banana bread you love. The structure you know so well, you’re sure you could walk around blindfolded and still know where the bathroom is. The wood chairs you sit down into a hardy meal of bacon and eggs, your favorite! There’s a home in a house. It sounds weird, but it's true. There’s nothing like your home it’s unique to you.
