What A Home Is

A home is a roof above your head protecting you and your family. A home is a place to eat, sleep & be grateful for. A home is where you can trust and talk to the people around you and feel safe while doing it without being judged. A home is where you have neighbors who are willing to help by not only mowing their half of the lawn but also yours without anything in return. A home is where your family waits for you after a long cold school day with a nice warm meal and a laugh to comfort you. A home is where my cat rubs against my legs and waits for me to brush him on the deck outside by the garden. A home is where you make awesome memories that you will always treasure in your heart. Even if it's just celebrating a holiday. A home is a place that is always in your heart. No matter how big or small it is, mine will always be in my heart.
