Home is a Special Place
When I think of home, I think of joy. I have a loving mom and dad with a very, very playful dog. We have lots of fun together playing games, making puzzles and building Lego. This makes home special to me.
When I think of home, I think of a warm fireplace. This is where my family gets warm on cold days, drinks hot chocolate and cuddles under warm blankets to watch movies together. This makes home special to me. When I think of home, I think of peace. My home is a place where I can relax, and
I feel safe. It can be a quiet place for me to be me. My mom and dad are always there to help and support me. This makes home special to me.
When I think of home, I think of celebrations. Home is where my family gets together to celebrate birthdays, Christmas, Easter and special occasions. It is where my Grampy, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends come to have fun, eat, play and laugh together. This makes home special to me.
When I think of home, I think of a place that is accessible for everyone. It is a place that has ramps and a stairlift. It is a place where people with wheelchairs and walkers can get around. It is a place where my dad can have fun with me. This makes home special to me.
All of these things make home special to me.
