There Is No Place Like Home

“Dad, can you tell me a story?” I said, snuggling in a cozy blanket. ” Sure. “said my dad. Once upon a time there was a girl named Sienna, She was moving on a rainy day out of her home. She was heartbroken, She lived there all her life. Flooding with tears she looked at her home through the fogged car window. “I will miss you home. ” Sienna said siffling. After a long drive through pretty pink sunsets, luscious forests, and cities that never sleep, they finally got to their new house. “ Mom, why does this not feel like home?” Sienna asked. ”Because we justed moved here, so it will take so time to get used to it” Sienna’s mom said A couple months later, Sienna began feeling home. It felt like the most cozy blanket on you, on the most rainiest night of the year. And if you saw it, it would be seeing the CN tower beaming red and white like the colours of Canada. If it was a smell, it would be, coming home from school and smelling the most delicious food ready for you. If it was a sound, it would be birds chirping in the early dawn of the morning. If it was a taste, it would be homemade double chocolate chip cookies fresh out of the oven melting in your mouth Before you know it Sienna said” There is no place like this home. ” And That brought tears to her mother's eyes. “Well Sienna, You better work on your habitat for humanity project. ” Sienna’s mom said. ” Ok” Said Sienna. Sienna realized that home is not a house, but a place where family calls home. “What happens next?” I ask. “Well next, you go to bed and have a good night's sleep" said my Dad.
