I Want To Get Home
On the long
drive home
I want to go as fast as l can
I am hungry
the smell
of chips
fill the car
almost everyday
the shine
of candy wrappers
on the floor
we do not ever clean up
every minute
I ask
if we are there yet
I am so hungry
and it takes so long
to get home
And mom takes forever
to make dinner
I want to get home
