While I Try To Sleep At night my dad leaves For his woodworking class And my brother cries Annoyingly Outside my bedroom door I hear it every night He asks my mom To call my dad To come home To sleep with him He is afraid to sleep alone She walks out of the room Goes over to comfort him So he quiets down She says no Dad is in the middle of his lesson And my brother keeps crying All while I try to sleep
