Meaning of Home

By MADDY My house is my family filled with love, kindness and peace. I am grateful for my home. I even made a friend… the mouse who lives in my house! I know this is silly and a little bit willy but I do have something to say, so just hear me out. I love the feeling of warmth from the fire felt on my face. I love the breeze coming through my window as I sit on my soft bed. I am filled with joy as I run down the stairs seeing my favorite food come out of the oven. When I ran outside into my yard and climbed the tree I claimed as mine. I love my house, my town, my country and everyone in it! My mother, my father, my brother. My house is stable and kind and filled to the top with love. My house is not just a place I live in. It's part of the family, not an object. It's a home a place for safety, for kindness, for shelter. My home is so special to me. I'm so grateful for everything I have. My home is love, my home is shared, and my home is a place for my family to be safe.
