If Home Were 5 Senses
Written By: Ryan Funk
Home as a sight,
I see my family laughing and smiling about funny things around the dinner table.
Home as a smell,
I smell freshly baked homemade cookies coming out of our oven.
Home as a feeling,
I feel safe and loved very much by my stuffies and family and the best thing I would feel welcomed by my loving family.
Home as a taste,
I taste clean, cold water, extremely yummy lasagna, and roasting hot warn smores over our fire.
Home as a sound,
I hear my parents snoring in the comfy beds and I’m saying…I love my home!
I am grateful that I have a home to live in and to have shelter.
I pray for people that don’t have a home or shelter and I’m praying for habitat for humanity to give people shelter. I feel sad for people who don’t have a shelter.
