“I am Home”

Once there was a girl who lived in a forest, she had a friend in a nearby village, and often went to visit her. The friends mother began to get worried for the girl so when the girl came to play the woman said, “Poor poor child, living in the forest? You must be freezing! Come stay with me and my daughter, we have beds and candles.” to which the girl replied, “Thank you very much ma'am, but I will be fine, the vines make a nice soft bed for me, and the animals fur keeps me warm.” and left for the forest once more. The next day the girl came back to visit her friend again, and again the woman said, “Poor poor child, living in the forest? You must be Starving! Come stay with me and my daughter. We have sweets and the most delicious of meals.” the girl responded, “Thank you very much ma'am, but I will be fine, I have berries that taste wonderful, and plants that the animals help me find. “ and left for the forest once more Again the girl came to visit her friend, however, the woman would not give up, and upon the girl's arrival she said, “Poor poor child, living in the forest? You must be lonely! Come stay with me and my daughter, my daughter and I will keep you company.” The girl replied, “Thank you very much ma'am, but I will be fine, the stars in the sky, the trees in the ground, and the animals are with me.” Finally the woman gave in, “You are a sweet child, I wanted to give you this, take it back to your home.” the girl thanked her, and began to walk back to her forest, her home.
