My Home

To me home represents my house, my family, and my neighborhood. My home is the house I live in. I am lucky to have a house to wake up in everyday. A house is made of walls, doors, and a roof, but a house is much more than that, it’s a place to feel safe, loved, and sheltered. My home is a place I know my family will always be there for me. When I come home, my dog is excited to see me and happily greets me with his wagging tail. My home is a special place because it’s where I share so many memories with my family. My home is like a big hug wrapping its arms around me, it’s the place I feel loved. My home is also my neighborhood, a community of other families. When I walk through my neighborhood, neighbors wave and say hello. I can run and play outside with my neighborhood friends. In my neighborhood, I feel safe and happy. A house can change, but a home cannot be replaced.
