The Difference Between a House and a Home

A house Is a structure. It looks like a home but they’re completely different. A home Is a safe place with people you love, a warm cozy place where you can be yourself. The memories In the house also make It a home. Maybe It's a time where you watched a movie altogether or the power went out and you told spooky stories no matter whatever memory It Is that's what makes It a home. Maybe It's the smell that makes you feel safe. If I pictured the smell It would be my Nana’s freshly baked cookies straight out of the oven. The memory would be having a campfire with my family. The sound would be my mom singing a song to Me. It would look like a warm hot chocolate by the fire.so why do we use the word house when you're asking someone If they want to come over or If you want to go to their house? We use house in those types of sentences because it's a physical object, a place , a home Is a safe place where you feel comfortable you're tied to your home. I am so grateful for my home and habitat for humanity. I hope everyone else can find a home just like me.
