My Home is Sweet

My home is comfortable It's a place where I can relax It keeps me safe from outside harm And shelters me from wind and snow My home is peaceful It's a place where I can read and write As the sun shines through the window pane It feels forever bright As I walk through the door with excitement and glee I take off my shoes so that I can feel free I look forward to spending precious time with my family By sitting on the couch with our eyes on the TV When the day is over and done I gather my thoughts for a new day to come And lay my head down on my pillow Thanking God for giving me life
