My Home

While a house is made with masonry, concrete, and wood My home is made of love that hangs over my head like a hood. While the storms and seas howl in the night My home to protect me from fright. When there is war around the country I have my home to protect me. While I am at school and feeling anxiety I know that I have a comfy home and a loving mom waiting for me. While the cold winds blow with all their might I can wrap myself at home with a blankie, warm and tight. But while I am at home, safe and sound, There is sickness and homelessness all around If I had a magic lamp, and I can have just one wish, I would wish everyone has a home.
