Meaning of Home

My home is crazy and colourful, bickering and bustling. Every day, I wake up, get dressed, and walk down the stairs, who welcome me every sunrise. Immediately, I smell the amazing aroma of our waiting breakfast. As I sniff in the scent, my puppy arrives to pester me with licks. When the entire family is seated, and the sizzling of cooking has died away, we dig in to our heavenly food and tell stories of our nights that range from a late-night work call, to dreams filled with jam filled doughnuts, to staying up a few hours, reading book after book, story after story (that last one not being me). Sometimes, I would read sagas about Star Wars, sometimes, fiction about fairies, sometimes, facts about fish. Often, I would cover myself in my cozy corner and delve deep into stories, only coming out when bathroom breaks and urgent snacking became necessary. Walking, or playing with my dog is another great way to bring me out of the comfort of my spot and the books I read there. Our family’s dog smells like flowers dipped in mud and grass, a cool combo that makes her smell both sweet and dirty at the same time. Another awesome addition to that is that her fur is like a swirl of chocolate with a tiny white speck on her toe. She scampers around the house, bringing feelings of amusement and joy as she goes. When we bring her out to get some exercise, we are forced to bring loads of treats and nibbles, both for us and her, after all she is one super speedy doggo! When I bring a ball along, it trembles in fear, terrified, thanks to Izzy’s (our dog, sorry about not mentioning her name earlier) fearsome fangs. We throw it, Izzy catches it; for her it’s a piece of cake. Isabelle’s happiness giving ability is one of the bigger ingredients to go in the pot, which represents our house without anything in it. As we fill up that pot, our house becomes a true home, a home that, instead of bland things thrown in randomly, has a memorable taste, one that we will never forget. P.S I like the goals that you are working at and I hope you reach all of them
