In My HOME
In my home, I see a table with food on it. In my home, I feel welcomed and proud of who I am. In my home, I smell my Mom’s perfume getting sprayed on her. In my home I taste my moms cooking. In my home I hear my Dad watching TV. Home is a feeling, and you're home is not the same thing as a house.
In my home, I see a building with people I love in it. In my home, I feel comfortable. In my house, I smell smoke coming out of a fireplace. In my house, I taste sugary candies and chocolate. In my house, I hear video games turning on. Homes and houses are very different. Some people have houses but not a home. A house has an address, a home does not. A house is a building. Thanks to Habitat for Humanity, lots of people are getting homes.
