In a cold winter In a cozy bed Under a warm blanket Wakes up a little boy At dawn on a Sunday After a cold night In a little house where love roams Laughing and joking fills the place In front of a fireplace Where the water boils Where children play their favorite games Where cheese melts on toast Where family laughs while eating pizza And drinking hot chocolate together Laughing at a funny show on the small television We’re like chocolate chip cookies baking in the oven Home is eating popcorn Under a warm blanket Watching a family movie On the couch of the living Home is a warm place Where I enjoy my time With my family and friends And this place is called home
