Meaning of Home

Home to me is a lot more than just a building, to me home is a feeling. A feeling that makes you feel loved, cared for and safe. The feeling I get when my mom comforts me when I’m sad, the feeling when my dad tells me he’s proud of me after I accomplish something, the feeling when my friends hug me everytime they see me. To me that is home. When I feel like I’m home I know I won’t be judged and I can be myself. Like when me and my cousins have crazy dance parties and we will blast music and dance like we don’t have a single care in the world and like when me and my friends laugh until our stomachs hurt. To me that is home. When I’m home we make memories that we will never forget. Home is where you will love each other through the good and the bad and where you will always forgive each other no matter what. That is what home means to me, I love my home.
