What Home Means to Me

Home is the place where I feel… Safe: Having a protective family and neighbourhood. Loved: Having lots of loved ones. Happy: Feeling free and cared for. Home is the place where I touch… My puppy: That soft fleece fur touching my hand as I pet her. My bed: Feeling cozy as I fall asleep. My clothes: Touching my nice clothing. The place where I taste… Cereal: Eating different varieties almost every morning. Drinks: Having something fresh, like water, or warm, like hot cocoa. Toothpaste: Having the usually minty substance in my mouth when I brush my teeth. A home isn’t a place made up of walls, rooms, and a roof. Home is a place where you should feel joyful. Feel loved and be loved.
