Camp
The tall pretty pine trees stretch their arms towards the sky with joy.
The birds swoop and soar above me like an eagle flying over its pray.
The waves crash against the rocks like a drummer beating a drum.
The tweet tweet of the birds make a happy tune in my ears.
The cedar blazes hot in the sauna while its smoke rises to the heavens.
The sweet smell of roasting marshmallows leads the pack to the fire.
The scrumptious s’more melts in my mouth like sugar.
The soft breeze whispers a secret in my ear as it brushes through my hair.
The lake water is a silky blanket wrapped around me.
Here lies my dog Gretzky as he lives in my heart forever.
Eternally resting at the place I call home: camp.
