What home means to me

Home is my happiness. A place where there is peace, kindness and generosity. At home, I'm reminded of the happiness I brought into many lives that I know and love to this day forward. Home is my safe place. At home I feel protected.I feel loved. I feel like I belong in my home. My house has my needs. When I go for a bike ride, or ice skating, my house has my needs for me to heal, to learn from mistakes in the past, so I can get back up, and try again. My house is filled with the aroma of fresh food from the kitchen, fresh food to serve all my meals, and to serve my friends and family that I will cherish forever. My house is a place I can snuggle up in a blanket, when the cold winter breeze blows through the air outside. My home is where I will come and hold my cat that I love so much. My house is where I'll sleep at night dreaming of sugarplums dancing in my head on Christmas Eve. My home is somewhere no one can tell me who to be and what to do. My home is where I can share my feelings with people I care about. At home I can tell my friends and family my thoughts and dreams, share secrets and be open with my family and friends about my secrets and through tough times in the past and the present. My house is a place where I will always have fun and exciting sleepovers and slumber parties, eat popcorn, late-night talking, listen to k-pop karaoke music, dance and watch movies, and most importantly, love yourself, your friends and family. What does home mean to you reader?
