My HOUSE is built with hard brick, cold cement and strong maroon roof tiles. My HOME is built with loving family members from all around, special hearts and the foundation of my hard-working mom. My HOUSE feels warm in the harsh winters and cool in the sweltering hot summers. My HOME feels welcoming to visitors, safe and calm. My HOUSE sounds like light switch’s clicking on and off, water running from the kitchen sink and movies playing in the background. My HOME sounds like friendships being mended, “please and thank you’’ and laughter filling the air. I am thankful for my home and my house.
