H.O.M.E.
Home is a word thrown around alot without people knowing or understanding the meaning. To me, home feels safe and comfortable. Home feels warm even on the coldest days of winter. Home is somewhere to be yourself. A home could be a place or people that make you feel loved. 50
Only your home is yours, to other people your home is just a house. Other people's homes to you are just a normal house. To them it is a place they love, a place that comforts them during the hardest days. Somewhere they grew up in. 46
My home is made of friends, family and a structure. My home is my house, where I grew up and where my cat is. My neighborhood, I would recognize it after looking at 1 million neighborhoods. My home is my town, the trails I walked on. My home is in my province, Ontario, the CN tower towering up high. My home is my country, the smell of fresh maple syrup.
Everyone deserves a home no matter who they are, a robber, a homeless person or even a bully. Despite who they are. They all deserve a place they feel safe and comfortable. Someone that makes them feel loved. Habitat for humanity’s mission is to help people find a home. I hope that everyone finds a home
