What Home Means to Me
What Home Means to Me
Home is a place where I can be myself. Home is a place where
my parents and I cuddle up around the fireplace.
Home is a place where I feel safe. Home is a place where I’m surrounded
by those who love me and care for me.
Home is a place where I feel like I belong. Home is a place where my family and I share
laughs.
Home is a place where my siblings and I have fun.
Home is a place where I make memories with my family. Home is a
place where I have a roof over my head, food on my plate and a
comfortable bed to sleep in.
Home is a place where I feel comfortable with myself.
Home is a place where my parents make me yummy food to eat as we talk about how our day was.
Home is a place of shelter.
Home isn’t just four walls, and a roof, it’s a place where you make memories, a place where you can be yourself.
Everyone deserves to have a place that they can call home.
Everyone deserves to have a shelter where you have food on your plate, a comfy bed, a roof over your head and nice clean clothing.
I am very grateful to Habitat for Humanity, for giving people a chance to have a home like this and I’m grateful for the home that I live in right now. No one deserves to suffer in the
cold without a shelter. Habitat for Humanity helps those who need a “Hand up, not a handout!”
