That Big Word, "Home"
Home is the place where my life can be comfy. The comfy room where many hours were spent playing, working, and so much more is a big part of my life. All my stuffies on my bed, the “Generals of Devan City” are there to play with me whenever I want. If my room were a scent, it would be the fresh smell of new books. My comfy bedroom is one of the reasons I love my home.
The moment you enter my house, you will feel very welcomed. To your left, you'll see my grand piano where many memories are made. Above you, there is the majestic chandelier, giving off yellow light. The new door looks so nice, you'd think I live in a mansion! Another reason I love my home is because it looks nice.
My community is big, diverse and kind with many types of different stores. My community is also historic, Oscar Peterson was about a kilometer away, so a legend lived here. Erin Mills is a big area, so lots of people live there and take care of where they live. Everyone is kind and respectful here no matter where they come from or who they are. My home’s community is another reason I love my home.
I feel grateful that I live in a country like Canada because not many countries can have peace and that's why Habitat for Humanity is such a great organization. You would be surprised by how many people live in Canada compared to other countries because Canada is a beautiful place to live! People think that Canada is just an icy tundra but like the US, we have four seasons. Despite our weather freezing, Canada is known for having the friendliest people in the world, and they don't lie. I love my country, Canada.
The word “home” can have a very broad meaning, and it's different for everyone, so I would like to hear yours! From my comfy house to my big country, all of it is my home. Also, do me a favor, once you're done telling me, ask someone you know that home means to them. I know they won't disappoint you. Home is a really big word and I'm super excited to hear your meaning of home.
The end.
