what home means to me.
My home is small and makes me feel cozy and warm. My home is located in Fort Garry. Home is where I grew up. I love the garden where I play with my family.
Firstly, I make many memories in my home. One memory was when it was my third Halloween and when we came back from trick or treating and we dumped the candy on the floor and there was so much. Another memory I made was when me and my family went to Sri Lanka and we have many photos in our home of when we visited the temple there.
Secondly, home expresses who you are. Home expresses who you are by painting your walls or having an art gallery or unique furniture. My home expresses who I am because I have an art gallery. When people come over the art gallery expresses who I am and tells I like arts and crafts.
Thirdly, In my home we have many gatherings. One gathering was on Thanksgiving Day .We had many friends and family come over and we had lots of fun! Another gathering was a little after New Years. My friends came to stay for the night. We had lots of fun and we played lots of fun board games such as Twister and Clue. We had lots of fun! Another gathering was on Thy Pongal. Thy Pongal is a cultural festival. We had many people come over. We ate Pongal (which is a type of food) and it was delicious! We put kolams which is a powder. We made designs with it on the floor.
Additionally, I share many of my belongings with my family. Things that I share are the TV, room and my toys. My family shares some of their things with with me as well. Me and my sister made a hideout in the attic and we share that as well. We also share the computer.
Finally, Home is where values and lessons are made. A few lessons or values that I have been taught is too always tell the truth and not to tell lies, not to give up and try my best, to hold the door for elderly people, to help people when they need it and to be kind.
Home is many things to many people. Home is where lessons and values, learning to share, gatherings, memories and etc. are made. Home is where you spend time with your family and friends.
Home is family.
