My Home is My Haven

Many things come to mind when I think of my home. My home is a household full of love. My home is my happy place; it is more than just walls and a roof, it is a place where I feel safe. My house has given me numerous memories that I will always love and cherish. After a hard day of school and activities, I feel like I can express myself, relax, and recharge at home. I've lived in my house since I was born. My house is where my family reunites, where we make new memories every day, it's where we grow and learn to be the best that we can be. I am grateful for my home. My home is a special place where I live with my family. As much as I love my home, at times it may or may not feel great because my sister and I often get into tiny squabbling disputes at home that can escalate into something regrettable. It saddens me when I think of why we argue but I've learned that those disagreements at home about insignificant things help me grow into the greatest person I can be. We always end up making peace anyway! I am thankful for my home and for having a roof over my head. I'm also grateful for my large room filled with treasures, my fridge full of food, and a wardrobe full of warm clothes. I'm proud of my house, la mia casa, mit hjem. My home is my haven.
