Why I feel safe at home/friend's house

When I'm at home and I don’t feel safe for some reason I would get my blue monkey. My father got my blue from a fair when he won a game. He gave it to me because he knows I like the colour blue and how I like monkeys. If I go to a friend's house for a sleepover, I will bring my blue monkey with me to feel safe. When I go to Alberta to see my father, I would bring my blue monkey with me. My blue monkey is a piece of home to me just for me. If I lose my blue monkey, I have a pin from my grandma and grandpa. Willow has a matching pin that goes with my pin. Me,Caylum,Connor,and Willow all got old money too. I do not really get to see Willow, so the pin means a lot to me. Sometimes I bring my pin and blue monkey in case I lose one. That is why I feel safe at my home/friend's house.
