Meaning of Home

Meaning of Home The Earth is everyone's home. That is why we should all try to keep the Earth safe and clean. We should try not to pollute and instead try to clean up pollution. A lot of problems come from pollution. Polluting is bad for the Earth because the smoke that goes into the air makes it hard for animals to breathe, especially the carbon dioxide that comes out of your car and the smoke that comes from factories. It helps create something called global warming. Global warming heats up our home (the Earth) and makes places that are supposed to be cold or hot. That leads to animals passing away. They pass away since it's very hot and they are made for colder weather. Another example of pollution is the trash that goes to landfill. That trash falls into the ocean and harms animal life when the animals eat it and cannot digest it. The trash can also make the sea animals trapped in it and harm their bodies, so they cannot move properly or get away from predators. We also shouldn't bring in species from different places and put them in different habitats. They are called invasive species. This new species can eat up all the food if they are an animal or block all the sunlight if they are a plant. If this happens, plants or animals that already live there will die. There is also overhunting and overfishing. Those things harm our homes because too many animals die. If this keeps up, some animals will be extinct! It is their right to share our home with us. We should protect the Earth and stop bringing invasive species, pollution, overhunting and overfishing, so our home isn’t destroyed!
