Meaning of Home
Home is very valuable. No, not money wise but it is valuable because of all the memories you have created there and all the other memories you are going to create.
In my home, joyful and happy memories are being made every day. Memories I will never forget. Every time I go home, no matter how bad my day was, I feel comfort and delight there.
Home brings me comfort in times of loss. When I lose a loved one I can go home and remember them.
Home is where loving family members and friends gather. I feel joy when I spend time with my friends and family, but I feel even more joy when we spend time together in my home.
At home, I can sit down to a warm meal made with love, and I can also sit with family members who love and care for me. I can play a game of monopoly, and although I may not win the game I enjoyed it because it was with family in my warm and welcoming home.
The people in my home care for me along with my home itself. It gives me shelter, warmth and happiness.
The neighborhood where my home sits is warm and welcoming too.
Home gives me a nice quiet place to sleep and a safe scary-free place at night. My home is a place of adventures, new skills and accomplishments. Home is where I celebrate family, holidays, birthdays and accomplishments. At home I can relax and not feel that I have to be a certain way, I can just be me and express who I am. At my home I know I am loved and I matter, I feel strong and stable at home. It doesn’t matter what home is as long as you feel safe, loved and stable then you have a home.
Your home might be an apartment, house, trailer, or tent, school, colour or even a scent but whatever your home is it is very valuable. Although your home takes care of you, you also need to take care of your home. Love it and care for it as it does for you.
