What Home Means To Me...
What home means to me…
These four walls that I call home are much more than a physical location for me; it's a place where I'm loved and feel protected and secure. A gathering place for my family to join together in laughter and joy. A place where I build memories, futures and accomplishments.
Home is a place I feel welcome, a place where I have support from friends, family and pets. Home, where I can always go to for a relaxing, comforting and stress free place. A place where we squabble and settle disagreements. Home is where I can be foolish, unique and annoying at all times.
My home is a place that is familiar and no changes. A place where I can live, thrive and try new fun things. Home is where I can show off my awesome new dance moves. Home is where I watch Christmas movies with my mom, eat scrumptious foods, bake delicious treats and sleep in a comfortable bed.
My home is also Ontario, a place where I have clean water, majority votes, cutlery diversity, beautiful mountains and trees, provincial parks, four of the five great lakes, farm land and so much more. Ontario where I'm allowed to be heard and talk about my religion. Home is where the heart is.
