No Place Like Home

Home means a lot to me. My brother and I have a special relationship with each other. We find lots of ways to have fun in our house. My dog is really special to me and whenever I come home from something, he puts his paws on my shoulders and licks my face. My room is the place I feel most comfortable. I practice my art and my writing and I feel my emotions there. My room has all the things I want. My favourite stuffy is named Ducky and I always sleep with them. They have the head of a duck, but the rest of them is a tiny blanket. When someone says home, I think of peace and happiness. I think of everyone that I know and their special talents. Home is a word that makes me think, ”I have the perfect life and family!” And when someone says it, I think of all the good times I’ve had with my family. Like when my family, violin teacher and me went to the theater to see Hillary Hahn in person. She is a famous violinist who plays really well. Home is a place where everyone can be themselves. At home, everyone is allowed to be who they are. If you have dark skin, olive skin, or beige skin. Everyone should be happy at home. If you would see me in my room, you would see me either playing Lego, or drawing, or writing a story. I have the perfect home, and I don't want it to change.
