Home Is Home
I like my home. It has a comfy couch where my family and I can cuddle. It has a kitchen where I can help my dad and mom make dinner. It has bathrooms with nice tiles and last but not least, it has beds, a place where we can sleep and know my home is safe, secure, and healthy. If my home didn't have those qualities, I wouldn't feel like I could live a happy life knowing that at any moment the ceiling could collapse or I could fall through the floor. It would probably be hard on a kid.
Sometimes I sit down and wonder what would happen if my home was breaking or had an infestation. I'd imagine the bugs or bacteria all over. I don't know how some people do it.
I saw a show that mentioned black mold that can be toxic and that's bad. Imagine, an engineer comes into your home and finds the mold in your house. You as a parent don't have a lot of money to get rid of it. Your kids would be breathing that in every day. I bet it would be hard as a parent to do that.
Some people say that their house is too small or their bedroom is too small. Well, some people don’t even have a house. When I was four, I thought that my home was the worst because I thought my bedroom was small. But when we were walking one day I saw a homeless man. I thought that he was just sitting down. When we got in the car, I asked my mom why he was there and mom said he probably lost his home. From then on, I appreciated my home and you should too. Everyone should!
