What is the meaning of home? Does it mean my house, constructed of wood and metal, concrete and steel? Or does home mean everywhere and anywhere I feel safe? Is home a place to seek out, one to adventure for, in the unknown lands, far far away? Or is home just on your doorstep like a lost puppy, waiting for you to come?
What is the meaning of home? It may be a safe haven where you can rest or a destination to have fun. But how do we know? There’re many different meanings of home, each one unique to a unique living thing. Home is different to everyone, and that’s okay. Sometimes home is where your friends are or where your family is. Sometimes it’s both. Sometimes home is just by yourself, alone and relaxed in deep thoughts.

All homes are filled with calm oceans of happiness and giant waves of trust. All homes are a place where you make everlasting memories, ones embedded in your heart. The meaning of home may vary but one thing is for certain. Home is home.
Even with all the meanings of home, there’s always one similarity. Home is a place where you feel safe, other people around or not. Home is a place that feels much like the feeling you get as the last piece of the puzzle is put down. Home feels just right. Home has that feel, has that scent, has that taste and has that pleasure. But most importantly, home has that hand making sure you won’t fall in the dark.
