Poem about Home
Poem about Home
Home is a place where you make memories,
Shelves lined with souvenirs and stories,
Everyone’s homes are things to treasure,
Homes are buildings special beyond measure.
The thing that are the most valuable
Are the memories in your home indispensable.
Big or small, sad or happy,
These memories are more important even before money.
These sorrowful or jolly days,
Are what helps you to become who you are today.
A home is where you feel loved and protected
A space where you can be yourself and not be neglected.
A place you can relax and feel truly lighthearted.
And a dwelling where you can feel verily contented.
It comforts us when we have a bad day,
Whispers words where we lay,
Bringing hope to start anew the next day
And makes our worries decay.
It’s a base for us to learn and grow,
Everyone needs its warm glow.
Home is where you can feel loved and respected,
It’s a bubble of space where you feel safe and protected.
Everyone should have a home like mine,
It will help them get through rough times.
It’s a foundation for families to build,
Programs like Habitat will help that dream be fulfilled.
