The Meaning of Home

Home to me is when I hear my brother’s laugh, the sound of my cat and my mom saying “goodnight” to me. The sound of the wind on my face when I play in the snow, the sound of my mom waking me up for school. Home to me is when I smell warm apple crisp pie or banana bread from oven, the smell of warm blankets. Home to me is when I see my little brother Tanner smiling brightly. Animals can also be home. For example, my cat Bill makes me feel comfortable and calms me down, also my other cats Tiger and Max also comfort me well. My Dad makes me feel at home because he does crafts with me and cooks very delicious food for my family, I love him so much. My Grandma is the best, she lets me tell her all my feelings and she makes me feel very safe when I’m with her. My Mom makes me feel at home because we watch lots of movies together and bake a lot. She makes me feel safe when I see her. My little brother makes me feel at home a lot because he makes me so happy, he is the best brother ever.
