The day my home changed

It was an ordinary day at school. My parents came to pick me and my siblings up when we got home our house was caught on fire. My parents were at a friend's house the whole day. Apparently around 2:38 our house caught on fire. Our neighbors said that a couple of teenagers were messing around and they set your house on fire. Luckily our neighbors saw the fire just in time and called 911 and the firefighters stopped the fire from spreading. My little sister was gloomy, my older brother was devastated and my mom and dad looked worried. Then our friend Rose gave us an opportunity to stay at her house until we could buy a new house. We got settled at Rose's house and Rose let my parents borrow her computer, then my parents started looking at houses, my dad started saying look at all these houses they're way too expensive, we can't afford that my mom said. I got an idea what if we get the whole community build your house Rose said ,so we asked the whole community if they wanted to help build our house everyone said yes, except for grumpy Mr Roger. So everybody got together and we started building the house. Some people were working on the walls, some people were working on the roof, and some people were working on the floor. Then about two years later the house was done. When everybody was done we thanked everyone for all the hard work they did. The next day we got everybody who helped build our houses a thank you basket. We were so thankful for the community that helped build our house. that we were inspired to help out other charities by donating 20,000 dollars to help build houses all around the world.
