Home
Home isn't just a feeling or a place. To me, home is the place where you make life. A home isn't made from living there or growing up there, it's the memories made there that make it a home. Words do not come close to what home really means…it can be hotter than the sun, it can be colder than the arctic, it can be as crazy as a typhoon. But no matter how hot or how cold or how crazy it is, home is a safe place! Also a place of wonder, imagination, love, creativity, loss, anguish and hate. It is a thing that everybody should have. The meaning of home is hard to describe because it's like mixing every emotion into one and then putting all of those into one singular word. Home, home, home, home…this word is the thing that keeps everyone going. It’s the thing that welcomes you with a warm hug after a long day. It's the thing that we fight and work for every day. It’s the word that symbolizes the relationship with everyone in your life. It’s the word that goes down to the earliest times and to the start of the universe. It’s the roots that connect all of us to each other. It’s that singular word that binds family together. The feeling that you have when you are at home is one that no other feeling can copy. The word that keeps us going…HOME.
