Home Home. People usually underestimate the meaning of home. Some think it is a building. Some think that, and they are wrong. Home to me, can be people. Your friends, your family, people who make you feel comfortable. People whom you trust, people who you love and people who love you. Surround yourself with people who feel like home. I have people as my home, quite a few actually; I feel comfortable and myself around them. People can and will help you out if you find and befriend the right ones. Home to me is the things I like. Music, art, books, and more. These things bring me comfort to me when I can’t talk to anyone. Sometimes these things help me when I’m stressed, anxious, or worried. Doing these things or doing something regarding these things make me feel at home, happy, and comfortable. Home is not a house. That is one of the many misunderstandings there are. Home is what you want it to be. Some people don’t feel comfortable in their own house, and if your ‘home’ does not have your comfort, is it really a home? A home is the place where you feel comfort. It’s what you do in that house that you call home, It’s the memories. Those memories construct it to be a home, and it is those memories that make you feel comfortable in that building. In the end, home is what you want it to be, not what others think. To you, it could be the woods, or this specific person, do not let anyone decide what the word ‘home’ means to you, it is all you; may I ask... What is home to you?
