What Home Means To Me

Home is where I can be myself. When I think of home I feel included. When I think of home I smell the awesome scent of cinnamon buns. I also feel the soft touch of my family. At home I feel included in family games and family movie night. Sometimes my family and I take a walk in the park. When I take a walk with my family, I see the bright lake shine super hard on my face. The soft touch of the water trickles amongst my toes. When it rolls through my toes it reminds me of family. That is when I begin to feel included. When I think of home, I think about me being myself. When I am myself I am silly, funny, and crazy! When I begin to go crazy or be silly it reminds me of home. It reminds me of when I am with my mom and we are cuddling and I start to be silly. Another one is when I'm in my bed I dream of my family, rainbows and unicorns. That always makes me feel at home. My stuffies especially make me feel at home. So when I go on vacation I always bring one of them so it always reminds me of home. When I am away from my family, pictures of them always make me feel safe and at home. My Mommy and Daddy especially make me feel safe, happy, hopeful, excited, and loved! Also my mommy’s cooking makes me feel safe and happy. Sometimes when the sun goes down I watch it, and when I see it go down it reminds me of all my loved ones who are now in heaven. That is what home means to me.
