My Canadian Home
My home is not just a ton of walls. It's the memories that we make that we keep in our home. Some are cruel, upsetting and annoying but some can be joyful, amazing and hopeful.
Home is a place where we hang out with family and friends. It's your comfort place where you are loved and can talk about deep emotional stuff and no one will judge you.
In my home you can hear music playing in the background while we are playing board games. You can also hear movies or shows playing on the TV every night. You will hear laughter when we're playing games.
When you walk into my home, my dog will come running to you and start licking you. You will smell the hot muffins or cookies my mom just made. They are so good. I could have them for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
I have a pool in my backyard that my family and neighbors go swimming in every summer day. Some days when it is chilly outside, we watch a thousand movies under the comfiest blankets.
In my home we encourage each other to follow our biggest dreams and work our hardest. Home is where family visits help catch us up on all the time we've missed together.
This is what home means to me.
