There is No Place Like Home

When I walk to my front door I’m excited to see what’s in store It’s not just the shelter that makes me feel safe But’s is a calm voice and my parents string embrace My home is a place full of laughter and love The peace I feel inside it, reminds me of a dove When I think of home, I think of all the smiles It’s the part of my life that makes everything worthwhile It’s not just the lights that make my home so bright But the constant assurance that everything will be alright I really love it all, from the sweet scented candles to all the fixtures and handles The atmosphere is just perfect to share Sometimes we’re near and sometimes we’re far wherever we are No matter where we choose to go and roam We will live, learn and explore, but we’ll always return There is nothing else so special like the place we call home
