Home: The Door to my Happiness

Home is a place with a key To a place where I can be me It is so warm and very calm And I feel safe when someone touches my palm Looking at all the picture frames Makes my emotions so hard to tame It’s a wonderful make where I feel loved It’s like a blessing sent from God up above I have a lovely family and home where I can grow And we will love this home as years come and go When I look around I feel so happy and proud Because living in this home no negativity is allowed I am thankful for the cozy bed I get to sleep on every night And when I’m scared I can turn on my night light Smelling the fresh-made dinner prepared by my wonderful mother She takes care of our family like no other My wish is for everyone have a loving home Where they are not alone Somewhere they can feel happy and safe And I have a wonderful space
