If Home Was 4 Seasons
Every season has a different meaning to everyone. To me, that’s love, care, and family. Seasons mean so much to me, they combine to make one enormous HOME.
If home was winter, it would be walking down to the river with skates, sleds, and family to get out and enjoy the outdoors, but also to stay active.
If home was fall, it would be getting together with family for Thanksgiving dinner. The smell of delicious mashed potatoes, and being thankful we have each other.
If home was spring, it would be watching the flowers bloom. Jumping up and down in puddles that melted from the snow of winter.
If home was summer, it would be staring up at the stars while sitting around the fire, roasting marshmallows with friends and family. Smelling the fresh s’mores and hearing the fire crackle.
I think that everyone should have a warm home with a roof over their head to keep them safe. That’s why I think Habitat for Humanity is a great way for kids to express themselves for what they think of home, and to care for those who are less fortunate than us.
