HOME

When I think of home I think of my own home. When I picture it in my mind I think of my family sitting in the living room and the warm feeling you get when you walk inside after being outside in the cold. And the amazing smell of thanksgiving dinner. Everyone is at the table laughing, smiling and talking. I sit down and take the first bite of my dinner, the taste of the creamy mashed potatoes and the salty gravy that's mixed into the potatoes. And the cold icee flavor of the cup of ginger ale touching my tongue. And the warm feeling you get when you're with the people you love and cherish. Playing board games and card games with my family and the memories being made in that moment. That is what home feels like to me not just the memories that are being made but the people you are making the memories with. But home can be lots of places such as a friends or family member's house. My baba's house feels like my home too because I made so many amazing memories with her and everyone there. And home is not always a house, it can be your friends or a special place like a forest or a park. There is a beach close to where I used to live. It feels like home while I'm there. It feels like HOME. Home is somewhere you can go to escape reality and be loved. I love my HOME and I hope lots of people can have a HOME just like mine.
