The Meaning of Home to Me

Home to me is not just a structure or place but a feeling of safety within that space. It could be an apartment, house big or small but having family with me is most important of all. For me my home is filled with those I love. Makes me feel cozy, and warm… fits like a glove. I could have my bed, favourite meals and fun toys but without sharing love the home would not give me joy. When Habitat for Humanity builds families a home, it first starts with plywood, paint, windows and foam. This house will eventually become as beautiful as Rome as the new family moves in, shares life experience and calls it Home.
