Home Sweet Home
The smell of my mom's amazing dosa wakes me up bright and early in the morning. I can taste the delicious home cooked meal as it melts in my mouth. I can see my mom making tasty pongal as my mouth waters. My sister runs downstairs and enjoys the meal with us.
I can feel the warmth when I get a hug from my family. I hear the beautiful sound of my family laughing merrily at the dinner table saying ¨I love you.¨I feel loved and happy when I am in my paradise. A place where you fight, love and reunite.
As I step into the backyard I can smell the rain pouring down and see my sister jumping in muddy puddles. I watch the beautiful sky as the snow covers the ground in a thin layer. The attractive orange and red sunset beams high up in the sky. I can hear the birds chirping a charming and lovely tune as I step outside.
Home can be anything from a bar for fresh clean water to a restaurant where you get free home cooked meals. It provides you with anything you would love. It's like a warm, cozy blanket over your head and it makes sure that you are secure and ready to face the world.
I am very grateful to have a home and a roof. A lot of people in this world don't get this luxury. This makes me feel kind and humble. I am very appreciative that Habitat For Humanity is putting in the time and effort to support people with a safe and stable home. We don't need to be perfect when we help. “Kindness is enough.”
“ A thought of a shelter will do magic to the homeless."
